Looper brings us an amazing exploration of time travel which governments had previously banned worldwide, but the technology has been corrupted by criminals for their own benefit. This ingenious screenplay by Rian Johnson looks at the paradoxes which rise during the film and we come to accept them as possible exploration of the problems. The story is about Loopers whose job it is to shoot former Loopers and others who the leader called the Rainmaker sees as a threat. Joe the triggerman in 2044 is sent back from the future to kill Old Joe. The loop is not closed, however, because Old Joe arrives without a hood, and Young Joe hesitates when he realizes his latest target is himself. When Young Joe meets Sara who lives on a farm with Cid her son, they become friends and a serious relationship develops. Sara is highly protective of Cid and threatens those who try to harm him. Old Joe finally arrives at Sara Farm and tries to bring balance back. This is a great story and will haunt you with its questions.
